Mahindra have launched the 2025 XUV700 Ebony Edition at a starting price of Rs. 19.64 lakh. Based on the top AX7 and AX7 L variant of the XUV700, the Ebony Edition is an all-black variant of Mahindra’s flagship ICE SUV. The 2025 XUV700 Ebony Edition from Mahindra is priced from Rs. 19.64 lakh to Rs. 24.14 lakh (ex-showroom). The all-black variants attract a premium of Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 14,000 over the standard variants.
Note: The XUV 700 Ebony Edition is based on the AX7 and AX7L 7-seater variants. Mahindra offer the standard variants with a 6-seater option too. Additionally, the standard diesel-automatic variants are also available with an optional all-wheel-drive system, which is not available with the new Ebony Edition.
The 2025 XUV700 Ebony Edition is only offered in one colour – Stealth Black. On the outside, it features a brushed silver skid plate, black grille and inserts, black ORVM covers and 18-inch black alloy wheels.

Changes to the inside include all-black leatherette upholstery, black-out trims, silver accents on the centre console and door panels, light grey roofliner and dark chrome air vents.

The XUV700 Ebony Edition is offered with Mahindra’s 2.2L diesel and 2.0L turbo petrol engines with the option of manual and automatic transmissions:
The XUV700 Ebony Edition petrol variants produce 200PS of power and 380Nm of torque, and they is available with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. The diesel variants produce 185PS of power. The diesel-automatic produces 30Nm more torque than the diesel-manual variant.

The XUV700 Ebony Edition competes against other all-black models such as the Tata Harrier Dark, Tata Safari Dark, MG Hector Black Storm.
