JSW MG Motor India have officially commenced bookings for the MG Windsor EV Pro. This new top-of-the-line variant in the Windsor EV lineup boasts a larger battery pack, enhanced features and an attractive introductory price for early buyers.
How To Book Your MG Windsor EV Pro
Bookings for the 2025 MG Windsor EV Pro are now open, starting today, May 8, 2025. Interested customers can reserve their vehicle through authorised MG dealerships across India or via the brand’s official website.
Attractive Introductory Pricing And Ownership Benefits
MG Motor are offering a special ex-showroom price of Rs. 17.49 lakh for the first 8,000 customers who book the new Windsor EV Pro. Following the initial 8,000 bookings, the price is subject to revision.
MG Motor are also offering a comprehensive ownership package with the Windsor EV Pro, including a 3-year unlimited kilometer vehicle warranty, 3-year roadside assistance, and 3 labour-free services. Additionally, they are providing a 60% buyback guarantee after 3 years, further enhancing the ownership experience.
MG Windsor EV Pro Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) Option
Continuing with their customer-centric approach, MG are also providing a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) option for the Windsor EV Pro. Under this scheme, customers can purchase the vehicle at a significantly reduced ex-showroom price of Rs. 12.50 lakh and then opt for a battery rental plan at Rs. 4.5 per kilometer. This innovative approach lowers the initial cost of ownership and addresses concerns about battery life and replacement costs.

What's New In The 2025 MG Windsor EV Pro?
The 2025 Windsor EV Pro distinguishes itself from the standard Windsor EV models with several key upgrades:
- Larger Battery Pack: It features a more powerful 52.9kWh battery, a significant increase from the 38kWh pack in other Windsor EV variants.
- Extended Driving Range: This larger battery translates to a claimed driving range of 449km, offering 117km more than the standard model.
- Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS): The Windsor EV Pro comes equipped with Level-2 ADAS, including features like adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, auto emergency braking, and traffic jam assist.
- Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) & Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) Technology: This innovative feature allows the EV’s battery to power external electrical devices, essentially turning the car into a mobile power source.
- Enhanced Exterior Styling: The Pro variant sports new 18-inch machined alloy wheels, adding to its visual appeal.
- Premium Interior: The cabin now features a sophisticated dual-tone ivory and black interior theme.
- Convenience Features: A powered tailgate adds to the practicality of the top-spec variant.
- Faster Charging: The Windsor EV Pro supports faster 60kW DC fast charging, allowing for a 20-80% charge in approximately 50 minutes. It also comes with a 7.4kW home charger, taking around 9.5 hours for a full charge.
MG Windsor EV Pro – New Colour Options
MG have introduced 3 new exterior colour options for the Windsor EV Pro – blue, silver, and red. These fresh new colours join the existing green, white, and black options, while the beige colour previously available on the standard Windsor EV is no longer available.
MG Windsor EV Pro – Feature-Packed Interior And Safety
Inside, the Windsor EV Pro boasts a 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, an 8.8-inch digital driver’s display, wireless phone charging, connected car technology, a premium 9-speaker Infinity sound system, and ventilated front seats with power adjustment for the driver.
The Windsor EV Pro offers 6 airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), hill start and descent control, an electronic parking brake with auto hold, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), rear parking sensors, and a 360-degree camera.

The MG Windsor EV Pro is powered by a single electric motor producing 136PS of power and 200Nm of torque, drawing energy from its 52.9 kWh battery pack.

While the standard Windsor EV is equipped with a 38kWh battery pack, the Windsor EV Pro offers a larger 52.9kWh battery pack. Thanks to the bigger batteries, the Windsor EV Pro offers a range of 449km, which is an improvement of 117km over the standard Windsor EV.
MG Windsor EV Pro Pricing And Rivals
The MG Windsor EV Pro is priced at Rs. 17.49 lakh (ex-showroom) for the first 8,000 customers. With the BaaS option, the ex-showroom price reduces to Rs. 12.50 lakh, with an additional Rs. 4.5 per km for battery rental. The Windsor EV Pro aims to compete with other popular electric SUVs in India, including the Tata Nexon EV, Mahindra XUV400 EV, Tata Curvv EV and the Hyundai Creta Electric.
