We have recently secured information about the 2026 MG Hector Plus facelift pricing including the prices of the diesel variants. We are now learning that the Hector Plus 7-seater ex-showroom pricing will start from Rs. 14.29 lakh. The 7-seater automatic variants will start from Rs. 15.59 lakh. Meanwhile, the Hector Plus diesel 7S will start from Rs. 16.45 lakh (ex-sh).

Earlier, when MG announced the pricing of the Hector and Hector Plus 2026, they hadn’t revealed the pricing for the diesel variants. At the time of 2026 Hector price announcement, MG had only conveyed that the Hector Plus would start from Sharp Pro variant with a starting price of Rs. 17.29 lakh.

The 2026 Hector Plus facelift 7-seater is available in a total of 4 variants — Select Pro, Smart Pro, Sharp Pro and Savvy Pro. The petrol-automatic (1.5L turbo petrol with CVT automatic) is available in all 4 variants with ex-showroom prices ranging from Rs. 15.59 lakh to Rs. 19.49 lakh. The Hector Plus 7S petrol-manual powertrain is available in the lower 3 variants starting from Rs. 14.29 lakh and going up to Rs. 17.29 lakh (ex-sh). The diesel-manual powertrain is available in only Select Pro and Sharp Pro variants costing Rs. 16.45 lakh and Rs. 19.75 lakh, respectively.

2026 MG Hector Plus Prices

Here, we can see that the petrol-automatic carries a premium of Rs. 1.30 lakh over the petrol-manual variants. Meanwhile, the diesel powertrain costs Rs. 2.16 lakh - Rs. 2.46 lakh more than comparable petrol-manual variants. This is an absurdly high asking price for the diesel powertrain, possibly because this engine is sourced from Stellantis and is not from MG’s parent or sister brands.

The new Hector Plus 2026 6-seater is only available with petrol-automatic powertrain and in only the top 2 variants. The 2026 Hector Plus 6-seater Sharp Pro and Savvy Pro cost Rs. 18.39 lakh and Rs. 19.29 lakh. These prices are Rs. 20,000 lower than those of the comparable 7-seater variants.
