Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara is the newest entrant in the C-segment SUV space. It rivals other C-segment SUVs like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Volkswagen Taigun, MG Astor, Skoda Kushaq and its Japanese sibling, the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder.

In this article, we share the list of features that you get in the Volkswagen Taigun over the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara.
The Volkswagen Taigun offers halogen-based reflector fog lamps in its top-end variants. The Grand Vitara, on the other hand, gets split LED headlights and lacks fog lamps.
The Taigun also comes with cornering lamps over the Grand Vitara. The cornering lamps light up the area on the sides while you make a turn at night. The Grand Vitara surprisingly lacks this feature.

While both the Grand Vitara and Taigun offer automatic headlights, the Taigun extends its lead with automatic or rain-sensing wipers as well.
The Volkswagen Taigun also gets a cooled glovebox over the Grand Vitara. While the cooling from it isn’t enough to chill your beverages, it is more than enough to maintain the temperature.

Like most other C-Segment SUVs in its class, the Taigun offers a 1.5L turbo petrol engine targeted towards enthusiasts. This engine comes with a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
