In this December 2022 Hyundai car sales analysis article, we’ll look at the car sales of Hyundai for the previous month. We’ll also compare the YoY and MoM change to find out which Hyundai cars’ sales improved and which ones declined. Lastly, the table with monthly sales for the last 6 months will give you an idea about the 6-month sales trend of all Hyundai cars.

December 2022 - Hyundai Car Sales Figures - YoY Change

The Creta is a consistent top performer for Hyundai, with over 10,000 units sold in December 2022
The Creta is the only cars from Hyundai with 5-digit production numbers in December
Disregarding the Tucson and Kona’s numbers for the purpose of this analysis, the Venue was the only loser in YoY comparison in the month of December with around 20% decline in YoY comparison
Among the gainers on the other hand, Xcent/Aura pair saw a massive 142% growth in December YoY comparison
The Santro was discontinued by Hyundai over the past year since December 2021 and hence does not warrant a YoY sales comparison

December 2022 - Hyundai Car Sales Figures - MoM Change

Most Hyundai cars saw a decline in dispatches in December over November
Tucson was showing growth since its launch till October but saw a 95% decline in the month of December over November
The Grand i10 Nios, Xcent/Aura pair and the Kona EV from Hyundai were the only cars that saw an increase in dispatches in December with around 5%, 9% and 26% growth, respectively
