Jeep India are all set to launch the third special edition variant of the Meridian SUV called the Meridian Overland. The Overland edition joins the Meridian Upland and X editions that are already on sale. Read on to know more about the upcoming Jeep Meridian Overland edition.
Jeep Meridian Overland Edition Launch Timeline
According to our sources, Jeep India are set to launch the Meridian Overland in October 2023. The new Meridian Overland will replace the Limited (O) and Limited Plus variants of Jeep’s D1-segment SUV. We expect Jeep to commence bookings for the Meridian Overland soon.

Jeep Meridian Overland Edition Expected Features
Like the Upland and X special editions, the Jeep Meridian Overland edition is likely to offer a couple of visual enhancements over the standard variants of the Meridian. The Meridian Overland edition is also likely to offer suede interior upholstery for the seats, door card and dashboard. Furthermore, it could also offer the following list of features:
- 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment display
- Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay
- Wireless phone charger
- Front ventilated seats
- Power adjustable driver seat with memory
- Dual-zone climate control
- E-parking brake
- Panoramic sunroof
- Digital instrument cluster

Jeep Meridian Overland Edition Specifications
Jeep are yet to reveal the powertrain combinations for the Meridian Overland. The standard variants of the Jeep Meridian are powered by a 2.0L turbo diesel engine that produces 172PS of power at 3750rpm and 350Nm of torque between 1750rpm and 2500rpm. The manual transmission can only be had with front-wheel drivetrain while the automatic transmission offers the option of both front- and 4-wheel drivetrains.
