With the launch of the Hyundai Creta facelift wrapped up, the carmaker will soon shift its focus to update the Alcazar 3-row SUV for 2024. The Alcazar was launched in the Indian market in June 2021 and it received an update in March 2023 when it gained a new 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine and other subtle aesthetic changes. V3Cars can now confirm that the Alcazar facelift will feature a different design over the recently launched C-segment SUV. Read on to know more.

According to our sources, the upcoming Alcazar 2024 will feature a different exterior design over the Creta facelift. The current version of the Alcazar features the same front end as the 2nd gen Hyundai Creta save for minor changes like a chrome studded grille. The side profile of both SUVs were largely the same up to the B-pillar. The real difference between the 2 SUVs were in their wheelbase and rear design. The Alcazar got a wheelbase of 2760mm over the Creta’s 2610mm to accommodate the 3rd-row seats. It also featured a unique rear end with an upright tailgate and larger tail lamps than the Creta.
While the design of the Alcazar is set for a major overhaul, the dimensions could remain in the same ballpark with a length of 4500mm, width of 1790mm, and a height of 1675mm.
