The 2024 Tata Punch EV was launched in the country today at a starting price of Rs. 11.0 lakh (ex-showroom). In this article, we take a look at the variant-wise prices, new features, electric motor and battery specs, and range of the Punch EV.
2024 Tata Punch EV Variants And Prices
The new Tata Punch EV gets an introductory starting price of Rs. 10,99 lakh (ex-showroom). Here are the full list of variants and the introductory prices of the new Punch EV:
The Tata EV long range variants are available with an optional 7.2kW AC fast charger for an additional Rs. 50,000. Buyers can also choose the sunroof option in Adventure, Empowered and Empowered Plus variants for a sum of Rs. 50,000.

New Tata Punch EV Standard Safety Features
The new Tata Punch EV offers the following standard safety features:
- 6 airbags
- Anti-lock braking system (ABS)
- Electronic stability control (ESC)
- 3-point seatbelts for all seats
- ISOFIX mounts
- Brake disc wiping
- Roll-over mitigation
Higher variants of the 2024 Tata Punch EV also get surround view monitor and SOS function. The Tata Punch EV offers a ground clearance of 190mm and a water-wading capacity of 350mm

Tata Punch EV Powertrain Options
The Tata Punch EV is offered with 2 battery pack options – 25kWh and 35kWh. The Punch EV medium range gets the smaller of the 2 battery pack options and offers an MIDC-claimed range of 315km. The Punch EV long range gets the 35kWh battery pack and offers an MIDC-claimed range of 421km. Check out the power and torque outputs of the Punch EV in the table below.
Tata are offering the Punch EV with 2 charger options – 3.3kW wall box charger and a 7.2kW fast charger. The Punch EV is capable of charging its battery pack from 10 - 80% in 56 minutes using a 50kW DC fast charger.
