In this February 2024 Toyota car sales analysis article, we’ll look at the car sales of Toyota for the previous month. We’ll also compare the YoY and MoM change to find out which Toyota cars’ sales improved and which ones declined. Lastly, the table with monthly sales for the last 6 months will give you an idea about the 6-month sales trend of all Toyota cars.
February 2024 - Toyota Car Sales Figures - YoY Change
- Top Gainers:
- Hilux shows an astronomical increase of 28800%, albeit from a very low base, going from just 1 unit sold in January 2023 to 289 units in January 2024.
- Innova Crysta/HyCross has an impressive growth of 558.72%, with sales jumping from 1,427 units to 9,400 units.
- Camry also saw a significant rise of 428.81%, with sales increasing from 59 units to 312 units.
- Top Losers:
- Fortuner experienced the most considerable decline with a -13.12% decrease in sales, dropping from 3,698 units to 3,213 units.
- Steady Performers:
- Hyryder and Glanza show healthy growth rates of 32.16% and 12.41% respectively, indicating a steady demand for these models.
- New Entries:
- Rumion is a new entrant in the lineup, with no previous year data for comparison.
- Notable Observations:
- The Vellfire has a notable increase of 177.27%, suggesting growing interest in luxury MPVs.
- The SUV segment, particularly with the new HyCross variant of Innova, is showing strong growth, which might be due to consumer preference shifts or new features attracting buyer

February 2024 - Toyota Car Sales Figures - MoM Change
- Top Gainers:
- Camry stands out with the highest percentage increase of 73.33%, growing from 180 units in December 2023 to 312 units in January 2024.
- Innova Crysta/HyCross also shows robust growth, with a 20.02% increase, selling 1,568 more units in January 2024 compared to the previous month.
- Vellfire has a significant increase of 64.86%, although on a smaller scale, going from 37 units to 61 units.
- Top Losers:
- Rumion experienced the largest percentage decrease of -23.29%, with sales dropping from 833 units to 639 units.
- Glanza and Hilux also saw decreases in sales, with -8.51% and -10.25% respectively.
- Steady Performers:
- Hyryder and Fortuner displayed positive growth, with increases of 11.39% and 3.51% respectively.
