Hyundai Alcazar Brochure Leaked; Reveals Fuel Economy | V3Cars

Hyundai is all set to launch the Alcazar SUV on 18 June 2021. And as we are getting close to the launch, a lot of information about the upcoming SUV is getting public due to leaked documents.

In the latest, a leaked brochure has revealed the fuel economy figures of the Alcazar SUV.

The petrol Alcazar is powered by a 2.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that makes 159PS and 191Nm mated to either a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission. Hyundai claims that the Alcazar petrol can go from 0-100kmph in 9.5 seconds.

The diesel Alcazar, on the other hand, gets Creta’s 1.5-litre diesel engine making 115PS and 250Nm mated to either a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission. Hyundai also claims that Alcazar offers the best-in-class economy. 

Hyundai will offer the Alcazar in six variants: Prestige, Prestige(O), Platinum, Platinum(O), Signature and Signature(O). While the first four variants will be sold across all Hyundai dealerships across the country, the Signature and Signature(O) variants will be sold only through Hyundai Signature Dealerships. Hyundai is yet to announce the list of Signature dealerships in the country. 

Features on offer include up to 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, ventilated front seats, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, puddle lamps, auto LED headlamps, powered driver’s seat, panoramic sunroof, connected car tech, 64-colour ambient lighting, 2nd-row wireless mobile charging, 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a Bose sound system, air purifier, rear sunshade, side doorstep, multiple driving modes and multiple traction modes. 

Pre-launch bookings for the Alcazar SUV are already underway for a token amount of Rs 25,000. Prices are expected to range from Rs 12 lakh to Rs 19 lakh. It will take on the likes of the Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus and the upcoming Mahindra XUV700.
