Hyundai have added new Prestige Executive variants to the Alcazar range. The new Prestige Executive variants replace the outgoing Prestige base variants in the Alcazar. The Executive variants come with fewer features and a lower price than the variants they replace.

Take a look at the prices of the newly-added Prestige Executive variants:
The Prestige Executive variants lack a few features over the discontinued Prestige variants. First off, an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system replaces the 10.25-inch system. It, however, gets wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Other missing features include Bluelink connectivity, auto-dimming IRVM with SOS button, burglar alarm and chrome finish door handles. Along with the removal of a few features, Hyundai have also slashed the prices of the Prestige Executive variants by Rs. 55,000 over corresponding Prestige variants.

The removal of features from the Prestige Executive variants could be a step to help circumvent the ongoing semiconductor shortage crisis. However, the top-spec variants of the Alcazar continue to come with the bigger touchscreen infotainment system among other impressive features. Skoda recently took a similar approach by deleting the 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment and replacing it with a smaller 8.0-inch unit in the Kushaq and Slavia.

Despite the removal of features, the Prestige Executive variants of the Alcazar come fairly loaded with premium features like a panoramic sunroof, 17-inch machined alloy wheels, LED headlights, semi-digital instrument cluster, cruise control, wireless charging and ambient lighting.
