Soon after the launch of the 2024 Creta facelift, our source at Hyundai told V3Cars that the carmaker will soon shift its focus on the Alcazar facelift. The Alcazar was launched in the Indian market in June 2021 and it received an update in March 2023 when it gained a new 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine and other subtle aesthetic changes. V3Cars can now confirm that the Alcazar facelift features a different design over the Creta 2024 thanks to the latest spy shots. Read on to know more.

The Creta-based Hyundai Alcazar facelift is currently undergoing tests and the latest spy shots give us a glimpse of its front end. Although covered in camouflage, the spy shots reveal the Alcazar facelift’s H-shaped LED DRLs, bumper-mounted LED headlamps, and a larger grille with horizontal chrome slats. It remains to be seen if Hyundai offer a connecting light bar at the front. However, considering a connecting light bar is a feature that is currently trending in the world of car design, we can expect the Alcazar facelift to make its debut with said feature.

The Alcazar test mule was also spotted with a new set of 18-inch alloy wheels with a swirl pattern for spokes. We expect the top variants to offer a diamond-cut finish while the mid variants could get a single colour finish. Apart from the new alloy wheels, the side profile looks largely the same as the current Alcazar.

While the rear of the SUV isn’t clearly visible in the latest spy shots, we expect the Alcazar facelift to offer LED tail lamps with a connecting light bar, just like in the Creta, which received its facelift in January 2024.
