Here’s the logic behind this conclusion:
The Hyundai Aura shares its steering wheel with the Grand i10 Nios and the Venue. While the Nios’s right side is completely devoid of any buttons, the Venue gets a few controls on the right. The Venue’s right side steering buttons include controls for the multi-info display in the instrument console and cruise control. The labels for the MID controls are quite small while the cruise controls have labels spelt out in English. Also, the right side 2-way toggle switch for the cruise control, as seen on the Venue, is present on the Aura’s steering wheel while the left side switch for scrolling through the MID is missing.

That means the Aura could be getting cruise control but you might still have to poke at the instrument console to scroll through the MID menu. The Aura won’t be the first car in the sub-4m sedan space to get the cruise control feature. The Honda Amaze and Volkswagen Ameo also offer this feature. Among hatchbacks, the Volkswagen Polo and Honda Jazz already offer cruise control, while the upcoming Tata Altroz will also offer it in XT and XZ variants. The Hyundai Aura’s top rival, Maruti Suzuki Dzire doesn’t offer this feature. Even the 2020 Maruti Dzire facelift, which will launch this year, is not likely to get cruise control.

Just like the sunroof, there are only a few scenarios, where you can practically put this feature to good use. Yet, just like the sunroof, it’s starting to become a desirable feature even in cars under Rs. 10.0 lakh ex-showroom.
