Talking about the features, the SX Executive will share its feature list with the SX variant but will miss out on features like the 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Blue Link, Arkamy’s sound, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, burglar alarm, rearview monitor, voice recognition and chrome door handles. However, the SX Executive variant will get factory fitted Bluetooth mic, steering mounted controls, shark-fin antenna, parking camera and USB port, in case buyers want to retrofit an aftermarket infotainment system or get the official 10.25-inch infotainment system fitted from the dealer.

While there is no official confirmation on the introduction of this variant, this new variant could be a result of the ongoing global semi-conductor shortage as the new infotainment systems that offer features like telematics and connected car tech are fitted with these semi-conductors.

As mentioned above, the new SX Executive variant will be offered with both petrol and diesel engine options. It gets a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine (115PS/144Nm) and a 1.5-litre diesel engine (115PS/250Nm). Both the engines will be offered with a 6-speed MT. This variant will not be offered with an option of automatic transmission.

The Creta SX Executive MT variant is expected to go on sale in the coming few weeks. It will continue to take on likes of the Kia Seltos, Nissan Kicks, Maruti S Cross and upcoming compact SUVs like the Skoda Kushaq and the Volkswagen Taigun.
