Hyundai Venue Facelift Unofficial Bookings Open — Launch Likely In June | V3Cars
A few Hyundai dealerships have started accepting unofficial bookings for the Venue facelift ahead of its launch later in June 2022. We expect Hyundai to commence official bookings in the coming weeks. The Venue facelift has been spied on our roads multiple times, revealing key design elements of the sub-compact SUV.

As per the spy shots, the Venue facelift will get a new face featuring a tweaked cascading grille and LED headlights. Like before, the Venue facelift will continue with the split headlight design. At the side, the Venue facelift will get a new design for the dual-tone alloy wheels whereas the rear profile will gain larger split LED taillights and new reflectors.

On the inside, we expect Hyundai to bring bigger and much-needed changes. The Venue has been around for well over 3 years and it has started to show its age. With the facelift, the Venue is likely to offer a bigger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, ventilated front seats, digital driver’s display as well as drive and traction modes.
On the powertrain front, we expect the Hyundai Venue facelift to carry forward the same set of engines as before. The base variants will come equipped with a 1.2L normal petrol engine with 83PS of power and 113Nm of torque. The 1.0L turbo petrol and the 1.5L turbo diesel are also likely to remain unchanged with 120PS & 172Nm and 100PS & 240Nm respectively. Transmission options will include a 5-speed manual, a 6-speed auto-clutch manual transmission, a 7-speed DCT and a 6-speed manual. In addition to that, we expect Hyundai to offer the 1.5L turbo diesel automatic powertrain found in the Kia Sonet.

Hyundai are likely to announce the Venue facelift in June 2022. The 2023 Hyundai Venue facelift will continue to rival the likes of the Maruti Vitara Brezza, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon and Mahindra XUV300. Speaking of rivals, Kia India recently launched the 2022 Sonet whereas Maruti Suzuki are gearing up to launch the new-gen Brezza.
