January 2024 - Maruti Suzuki Arena & Nexa Car Sales Figures - YoY Change

• Top Gainers:

  • Dzire: The Dzire sedan witnessed a remarkable YoY growth of 48.21%, with sales increasing from 11,317 units in January 2024 to 16,773 units in January 2024.
  • Ertiga: The Ertiga MPV also performed exceptionally well, showing a YoY growth of 50.07%, with sales rising from 9,750 units to 14,632 units.
  • Grand Vitara: The Grand Vitara SUV experienced significant growth, with sales climbing by 55.14%, from 8,662 units to 13,438 units.

• Top Losers:

  • Alto K10: The Alto K10 hatchback faced a substantial decline, with sales plummeting by 42.11%, from 21,411 units to 12,395 units.
  • Ignis: The Ignis hatchback saw a sharp decrease, with sales dropping by 55.53%, from 5,842 units to 2,598 units.
  • S-Presso: The S-Presso SUV also experienced a decline, with sales decreasing by 14.40%, from 4,035 units to 3,454 units.

• Other Observations:

  • Baleno remained the top-selling model, with consistent growth (20.01%) year-on-year.

  • Dzire: The Dzire sedan experienced a healthy increase, with sales growing by 19.70%, from 14,012 units to 16,773 units.

• Top Losers:

  • Ignis: The Ignis hatchback faced a decline, with sales dropping by 562.76%, from 392 units to 2,598 units.
  • Jimny: The Jimny SUV also saw a significant decrease, with sales declining by 77.67%, from 730 units to 163 units.
  • Ciaz: The Ciaz sedan had a notable decline, with sales decreasing by 25.77%, from 489 units to 363 units.
