The Compass Trailhawk facelift gets multiple changes over the Compass. Up front, it gets a centre decal on the bonnet to reduce reflections on the windscreen. Moreover, the lower bumper gets a better approach angle, along with a beefier skid plate. Jeep have also repositioned the air intake of the Trailhawk to increase its water wading capability.

Aside from the approach angle, the Trailhawk also offers better break-over and departure angles. The Jeep Compass Trailhawk also gets ‘Trail Rated’ and ‘Trailhawk’ badges on the side and rear profiles. It also gets all-terrain tyres for better grip in unfavourable conditions.

The Jeep Compass Trailhawk will carry the same dashboard as the Compass. Hence, there will be little to no difference in terms of feel and features. The top trims of the standard Compass features a freestanding touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, dual-zone climate control, digital instrument cluster, and ventilated seats. The Jeep Compass Trailhawk, on the other hand, will offer additional terrain modes that are not available on the standard Compass.

The Jeep Compass Trailhawk will be powered by the same 2.0L turbo diesel engine we get with the standard Compass. It pumps out 170PS of power and 350Nm of torque. The big change will be the addition of a low range gearbox for extreme offroad conditions. The engine will come mated to a 9-speed torque converter automatic gearbox and standard 4-wheel-drive. Jeep Compass Trailhawk will rival the likes of the Hyundai Tucson AWD and Volkswagen Tiguan.
