Kia India recently increased the prices of the Carens by up to Rs. 45,000. After this price revision, the Carens's ex-showroom prices now start at Rs. 10.20 lakh and tops out at Rs. 18.45 lakh. The new January 2023 prices are between 1.41% and 3.85% higher than before.

No variants of Carens were discontinued by Kia
Prices of the Carens 1.5L normal petrol went higher by up to Rs. 20,000 and the Premium 7 manual variant witnessed the biggest price change. In terms of percentage, for the Carens 1.5L normal petrol, the Premium 7 manual variant saw the biggest price increase of 2%.
The prices of the Carens 1.4L turbo petrol are now higher by up to Rs. 30,000. The Carens Luxury Plus 7 manual variant changed by as much as Rs. 30,000. For the Carens 1.4L turbo petrol, the Luxury Plus 7 manual variant got the biggest price increase of 2.21%.
With the 1.5L turbo diesel, the Carens is now more expensive by up to Rs. 45,000, which is an increase of 3.85% for the Premium manual variant.
