Kia India recently increased the prices of the Sonet by up to Rs. 40,000. After this price revision, the Sonet's ex-showroom prices now start at Rs. 7.69 lakh and tops out at Rs. 14.39 lakh. The new January 2023 prices are between 1.9% and 4.42% higher than before.

Along with this revision, Kia also added 3 new variants to the list.
No variants of Sonet were discontinued by Kia
Prices of the Sonet 1.2L normal petrol went higher by up to Rs. 20,000 and the HTE manual variant witnessed the biggest price change. In terms of percentage, for the Sonet 1.2L normal petrol, the HTE manual variant saw the biggest price increase of 2.67%. Kia also added the HTK Plus variant with the 1.2L normal petrol engine which comes with a manual transmission.
The prices of the Sonet 1.0L turbo petrol are now higher by up to Rs. 25,000. The Sonet HTK Plus manual variant changed by as much as Rs. 25,000. For the Sonet 1.0L turbo petrol, the HTK Plus manual variant got the biggest price increase of 2.5%. Kia also added the X Line variant with the 1.0L turbo petrol engine which comes with a DCT automatic transmission.
With the 1.5L turbo diesel, the Sonet is now more expensive by up to Rs. 40,000, which is an increase of 4.42%. Kia also added the X Line variant with the 1.5L turbo diesel engine which comes with a TC automatic transmission.
