    Made-In-India Datsun GO+ Launched In South Africa

    Datsun has launched its Go+ car in South Africa priced at R 1,34,900 there. The company will export Go+ to South Africa from its Indian manufacturing facility in Chennai.

    The Go+ is Datsun's second offering in South Africa. Besides the car's 5+2 seater version that is sold in India, Datsun has launched a Panel Van version in SA which will cater to the light commercial vehicle buyer there.

    The Go+ is Datsun's second offering in South Africa. Besides the car's 5+2 seater version that is sold in India, Datsun has launched a Panel Van version in SA which will cater to the light commercial vehicle buyer there.

    Some of the key features of the Go+ sold in SA are driver side airbag, air conditioner, drive computer, dark coloured interior and mobile docking station.

    The Go+ launched in SA is powered by the same 1.2-litre engine that powers the Go & Go+ in India. The engine is good to produce a maximum of 67hp power & returns a claimed 19.23kmpl fuel efficiency.

    Datsun's India portfolio consists of three cars, the Go, Go+ & redi-GO. In India, the Go hatchback is gaining popularity in the commercial vehicle segment while redi-GO is favoured by first-time car buyers due to its aggressive pricing.
