Are The Crash Results Valid For The India-Spec Virtus?

Given that the Volkswagen Virtus that was tested was made-in-India, it’s safe to assume that the results are also applicable for the India-spec Virtus. However, the India-spec Virtus doesn’t offer auto emergency braking or any other kind of ADAS-related features. The Latin NCAP’s test cycle, rules and procedures are different from that of the Global NCAP. Hence, we will have to wait for the Virtus’ Global NCAP test results before we can judge the safety of the India-spec Virtus.
