Mahindra India recently increased the prices of the Thar by up to Rs. 51,000. After this price revision, the Thar's ex-showroom prices now start at Rs. 13.53 lakh and tops out at Rs. 16.03 lakh. The new April 2022 prices are between 2.66% and 3.74% higher than before.

No variants of the Thar were discontinued by Mahindra
Prices of the Thar 2.0L turbo petrol went higher by up to Rs. 44,000 and the LX Convertible automatic variant witnessed the biggest price change. In terms of percentage, for the Thar 2.0L turbo petrol, the LX HardTop manual variant saw the biggest price increase of 3.12%.
The prices of the Thar 2.2L turbo diesel are now higher by up to Rs. 51,000. The Thar LX Convertible automatic variant’s price changed by as much as Rs. 51,000. For the Thar 2.2L turbo diesel, the LX Convertible automatic variant got the biggest price increase of 3.74%.
