The Mahindra XEV 9e, first unveiled in November 2024, has created quite a buzz in the electric SUV market. While Mahindra initially disclosed only the starting price, the SUV manufacturer has now announced a price of Rs. 30.5 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top-spec variant – the Pack Three. The 2025 XEV 9e Pack Three variant is offered with 2 battery pack options – 59kWh and 79 kWh – and it gets several additional features over the Pack One base variant.

For reference, the XEV 9e is offered in 3 variants – Pack One, Pack Two, and Pack Three, with the base variant priced at Rs 21.9 lakh (ex-showroom).
2025 Mahindra XEV 9e – At A Glance
The XEV 9e boasts a bold and muscular exterior with sharp lines and a coupe-like roofline. Exterior design highlights include connected LED daytime running lamps (DRLs), LED projector headlamps, glowing ‘unlimit’ logos, piano black cladding, rear door handles on the C-pillar, 20-inch alloy wheels with aero inserts, a shark fin antenna, and connected LED taillamps.
The interior is equally impressive, featuring a spacious and luxurious cabin with white upholstery, a triple-screen setup, 2-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated logo, and illuminated glass roof.
To enhance comfort and convenience, the XEV 9e offers a host of advanced features, including:
- Auto parking
- Multi-zone climate control
- Augmented reality head-up display (HUD)
- Wireless charging
- 16-speaker premium audio system
- Ventilated and powered front seats
- Vehicle-to-load (V2L) technology
- Multiple drive and regeneration modes
In terms of safety, the XEV 9e is equipped with 7 airbags (including knee airbag), 3-point seatbelts for all passengers, a 360-degree camera, and Level 2 ADAS.

2024 Mahindra XEV 9e Test Drive, Booking And Delivery Details
Mahindra have announced that test drives for the 2025 XEV 9e will start in a phased manner from January 14, 2025. Bookings for the 2025 XEV 9e Pack Three top variant will open on February 14 and deliveries of this variant will begin in March 2025. Meanwhile, Mahindra will announce the booking schedule for the remaining variants in March 2025.
