Now, Mahindra have launched this version of the XUV300, albeit with a new suffix — TurboSport. The XUV300 TurboSport is available in 3 variants and prices range from Rs. 10.35 lakh to Rs. 12.90 lakh ex-showroom.

The XUV300 is the widest SUV in its class and also boasts the longest wheelbase. Its width is 1821mm, which is 10mm more than the second-widest car in the segment, the Tata Nexon. Furthermore, the XUV300 gets a wheelbase of 2600mm, which is 100mm more than all the other rivals in the class. However,the XUV300 gets the segment-lowest ground clearance of 180mm, while the Nexon sits the tallest off the ground, at 209mm.

The XUV300 TurboSport is the most-powerful B2-segment SUV in the market. The new 1.2L turbo petrol engine with direct injection produces 130PS of power and 230Nm of torque. It is worth noting that the XUV300 TurboSport also comes with an overboost function that increases the torque output to 250Nm for a brief amount of time. With the new engine, the XUV300 TurboSport now offers a claimed fuel efficiency of 18.2kmpl, which is on par with the Venue, Nexon and Sonet.
