March 2023 - Maruti Suzuki Car Sales Figures - YoY Change
- 7 out of 14 Maruti cars saw a drop in sales figures in our YoY Maruti Suzuki car sales comparison
- Maruti produced 1,32,763 cars in March 2023 compared to 1,33,861 units in March 2022
- The Brezza was the top YoY gainer, with 30.45% growth in the month of March, followed by Eeco with a 30% YoY growth and Swift with a 29% YoY rise in dispatches
- The top YoY loser was Ciaz, with a YoY decline of 83.64%, followed by S-Presso with around 69% YoY decline
- The Maruti S-Cross was discontinued over the past year. Hence, there’s no YoY comparison for March 2023.

March 2023 - Maruti Suzuki Car Sales Figures - MoM Change
- Sales of the top selling car by Maruti, the Swift, dropped by nearly 5% in March compared to February.
- Maruti Suzuki sold nearly 300 units of the Ciaz in March compared to about 800 units in February, which makes for an MoM decline of over 62%, making it the biggest loser in the March 2023 MoM comparison.
- Among the MoM losers, the Alto and Alto K10 pair followed the Ciaz with around 50% decline in dispatch numbers in March MoM comparison.
- In March MoM comparison, the Ertiga was the top gainer, with about 40% growth.
- The Grand Vitara was next on the MoM gainers’ ranking, with a 9.39% growth. The Grand Vitara was followed by the Eeco, with a 5.66% growth in MoM comparison analysis.
