The new Maruti Baleno, which was launched yesterday (February 23), has received over 25,000 bookings in just 14 days. Maruti began accepting bookings for the new Baleno on February 7 for a sum of Rs 11,000. Now, Maruti have also begun deliveries of the new Baleno premium hatchback.

The new Baleno gets a new and wider grille flanked by slim LED headlights with boomerang-shaped LED DRLs. While the silhouette remains the same as before, the alloy wheels get a redesign. The 2022 Baleno also features split LED tail lights with tri-LED elements.

On the inside, the 2022 Baleno features a redesigned dashboard. Interior highlights include a 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 360-degree parking camera, a retractable head-up display, cruise control, rear AC vents, automatic headlights, telematics, keyless entry, and push-button start/stop.

The 2022 Maruti Suzuki Baleno comes with a 1.2L normal petrol engine. It produces 90PS of power and 113Nm of torque, mated with either a 5-speed manual or 5-speed AMT transmission. The manual transmission delivers a claimed fuel efficiency of 22.35kmpl while the AMT delivers a claimed mileage of 22.94kmpl.

Maruti have priced the new Baleno between Rs. 6.35 lakh and Rs. 9.50 lakh.
