Maruti Nexa Confirm Vitara Hybrid SUV Reveal Date | V3Cars

Maruti Nexa will reveal the 2022 Vitara Hybrid SUV on July 20. We can now confirm that Maruti Suzuki will call the Hyryder-based hybrid SUV the Vitara. Maruti Suzuki will sell the new Vitara via the Nexa chain of dealerships and it will replace the current-gen S-Cross in the portfolio.

The Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder and the upcoming Vitara Hybrid sit on Suzuki’s Global-C platform. The same platform also underpins the 2022 S-Cross in global markets.

The new Vitara Hybrid is likely to get a distinct design over the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder. While the silhouette of both SUVs will remain the same, the Vitara will feature a different design for the LED DRLs, bumpers and front grille. We expect it to get different alloy wheels and reprofiled tail lights as well.

On the inside, the Vitara Hybrid will feature the same dashboard design as the Hyryder. However, Maruti Suzuki could use a lighter shade for the upholstery and use different trim pieces as well. The 2022 Maruti Vitara is likely to get the same features as the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder.

Take a look at the expected features of the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Vitara Hybrid:

  • Panoramic sunroof
  • Wireless phone charger
  • 360-degree camera
  • Full-LCD instrument cluster
  • Auto AC
  • Ventilated front seats
  • 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment
  • Head-up display
  • 6 airbags
  • Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)

We expect Maruti Suzuki to launch the Vitara Hybrid near the festive season. This move will help Maruti Suzuki keep the recently-updated Brezza in the spotlight before the bigger Vitara Hybrid hits showrooms.
