The Vitara Breeza compact SUV by Maruti Suzuki has crossed a milestone of selling more than 3 lakh units in the Indian market. The Maruti Suzuki Vitara Breeza was first launched in the country in 2016 and the compact SUV has achieved this milestone in just 28 months making it the fastest in the segment till date. The compact SUV managed the average monthly sales of over 12,600 units in past 5 months very well with growth of more than 25 percent against same period last year. However, in FY 2017-18 it had a market share of 43 percent in the segment in India.
Talking about the achievement by the Vitara Breeza COMPACT SUV, R S Kalsi- Senior Executive Director, Marketing and Sales, Maruti Suzuki said, “Vitara Brezza is a breakthrough product, which created disruption in the compact SUV market. The contribution of the top variants in the total sales of Vitara Brezza has zoomed to 56%.
