The 2021 GLC gets additional features like front seats with massage function, digital instrument cluster, a 360-degree camera and Mercedes’ me connected car technology which offers facilities like remote start/stop with Google Home and Alexa Home integration. Other features remain similar to the outgoing model including LED headlamps, panoramic sunroof, cruise control, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with MBUX, dual-zone AC, electrically adjustable front seats, wireless charging, 64-colour ambient lighting, rain-sensing wipers and seven airbags.
Along with the feature update, Mercedes Benz has also two new exterior colours on the GLC in the form of Brilliant Blue and High Tech Silver. Other colours on offer include Polar White, Obsidian Black, Cavansite Blue, Graphite Grey and Hyacinth Red.
Under the hood, the GLC 200 gets a 197PS and 320Nm. The GLC 220d, on the other hand, gets a 2.0-litre unit making 194PS and 400Nm. Both the engines are mated to a 9-speed automatic as standard but the 220d also gets a 4MATIC 4WD system.
The 2021 GLC continues to take on likes of the Volvo XC60, Audi Q5, BMW X3, Range Rover Evoque and the Lexus NX 300h.
