MG Astor recently underwent a feature reshuffle and price revision. MG Motor India added more features to the base variant of the Astor while the rest of the variants remained unchanged. During the process, MG Motor India also hiked the Astor’s base variant’s prices by Rs. 30,000.

The base style variant is the most value for money variant in the Astor lineup. MG Motor India further improved its appeal with the addition of an air purifier. This is not a dedicated air purifier in the car but a PM 2.5 filter added along with the AC filter, which works just as well without making its presence felt. MG also added the wheel arch and side cladding along with wheel covers. However, MG removed 2 USB charging ports, as the Astor now gets only 3 USB points instead of 5.
Despite the price increase, the Astor Style variant remains our top recommendation for most Astor buyers looking for a budget-friendly and value-for-money C-segment SUV. Apart from the base variant, MG Motor India didn’t make any changes to the remaining variants of the Astor.
