Ahead of the launch of the MG Comet EV, the brochure for the electric city car has leaked online, revealing the specifications, dimensions and features. Read on to know more about the Comet EV from MG.

MG Comet EV Specifications

According to the leaked brochure, the Comet EV will offer a 17.3kWh battery pack. The electric motor of the Comet EV will offer 42PS of power and 110Nm of torque. The Comet EV will offer a claimed driving range of 230km on a single charge. In terms of charging, the Comet EV will take 7 hours to charge from 0-100% and 5 hours to charge from 10-80% via a 3.3kW AC charger.

The MG Comet EV will measure under 3 metres in length and offer a 2 door layout with  space to seat 4 passengers. The brochure doesn’t reveal the boot space of the compact electric vehicle. Even though the length and wheelbase of the Comet EV are less than standard A-segment hatchbacks, its width and height are actually better than hatchbacks like the Maruti Suzuki Alto K10.

MG Comet EV India Launch Details

MG Motor India are likely to launch the Comet EV in the first week of May 2023. The new Comet EV is likely to undercut other affordable electric vehicles in the market, such as the Tata Tiago EV, Tata Tigor EV and Citroen eC3. So we could expect MG to price the Comet EV between Rs. 7 lakh - 8 lakh (ex-showroom).

    We will purchase immediately after launching but we know the boot space and also rear seats seprate foldable
