The 17.3kWh battery pack offers a claimed range of up to 200km on a single charge, while the 26.7kWh battery pack offers a range of 300km. Both variants come with a 40PS electric motor. We are yet to learn whether MG will offer one of the 2 mentioned battery packs or offer a new battery pack for our market.

MG Motor India are likely to launch the Comet EV in mid 2023. The prices of the Comet EV could start from Rs. 10 lakh ex-showroom. It is likely to rival the Tata Tiago EV, which is a bigger hatchback than the Comet EV. However, the Comet EV is likely to offer more connectivity features and entertainment features to attract young car buyers.
