Japanese automaker Mitsubishi created news by launching the new Mitsubishi Outlander in the Indian market recently, after a long quite period. Mitsubishi has gone ahead to make things more interesting by recently launching a new customization package for the new Mitsubishi Pajero Sport. Known as the Splash package, this new customization package has been made available for the buyers of both the Pajero Sport as well as the Pajero Sport Plus variants. The new Mitsubishi Splash package comes at an additional premium of Rs. 57,500, but can add a lot of style and spunk to your already impressive Pajero Sport SUV.
For the new Splash package, there is an online configurator which lets the interested buyers to choose the variant of their preference, and then let them choose from the three primary design packages. Each of these packages offers a five colour combination patterns to pick from. So, the buyers essentially get 30 different colour combinations to choose from; talk about spoilt for choices!
The new Mitsubishi Pajero Sport Splash customization package offers no mechanical alterations or choices whatsoever. Thus, the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport premium SUV continues to get powered by the same 2.5 litre 4 cylinder, turbocharged common rail diesel motor. The diesel engine has the capability of churn out a max power output of 178 PS along with 350 Nm of top torque. The premium SUV is offered for sale in the car market of India in both two wheel drive and all four wheel drive system options. In its all-four wheel drive system paired with a manual transmission version, the Pajero Sport offers a higher top torque output at 400 Nm. The Japanese premium SUV is available for sale in India with two transmission gearbox options, namely a 5 speed manual transmission and a 5 speed automatic transmission unit.
The Mitsubishi Pajero Sport is a full-sized premium SUV which has an aggressive and intimidating road presence along with premium visual appeal. Mitsubishi first launched the Pajero Sport SUV in the car market of India back in 2013, which had launched in the global markets four years earlier than the Indian market.
