Next-Gen Hyundai Creta (ix25) SUV Revealed With Kia Seltos-Inspired Dashboard Design

Hyundai has fully revealed the next-generation ix25 SUV, which is known as Creta in many markets, including India.

The next-gen ix25 was revealed earlier as well, and not much has changed in terms of how it looks on the outside. The exterior design is radical and polarizing. It gets a new hexagonal front grille with a curvy design flanked by unusual headlights. The new Creta’s off-beat styling continues at the rear end as well.

The model that Hyundai has showcased now features a more Seltos-like dashboard design, leading us to believe that it will be this version of the SUV that would finally make its way into the Indian car market. The earlier version of the ix25 had a large vertical infotainment system in the middle of the dashboard, a bit like the MG Hector.

Apart from a large Seltos-like infotainment system, the new avatar of the Creta is expected to be loaded with a number of new features. Expect some of the features of the Seltos on the Creta as well, including the connected car tech.

The Seltos and new Creta will be based on the same platform and should share powertrains as well. Expect both petrol & diesel engine options, available with both manual & automatic transmissions. We expect India-spec Creta to be revealed at the upcoming 2020 Auto Expo.
