Renault Announce Price Cut And Discount For Kiger SUV | V3Cars

The 2023 Renault Kiger was recently updated with BS6 phase 2-compliant engines and additional safety features. Now, Renault have slashed the price of the Kiger RXT (O) variant and are also offering attractive discounts for the top-spec Kiger RXZ variant.

Renault Kiger RXT (O) Now Cheaper

Renault Kiger RXT (O) is now priced at Rs. 7.99 lakh, which is Rs. 25,000 cheaper than before. Earlier, the RXT (O) variant of the Kiger was priced at Rs. 8.24 lakh (ex-showroom) and the new price cut doesn’t strip down any features.

Renault Kiger RXZ Gets Discounts And Benefits

Apart from the price cut, Renault also announced attractive discounts and benefits for the top-spec Kiger RXZ variant. Renault Kiger RXZ buyers can now avail a cash discount of Rs. 10,000, an exchange bonus of  Rs. 20,000, corporate benefits of Rs. 12,000 and loyalty benefits of up to Rs. 49,000. The discounts total up to Rs. 91,000. Currently, the Renault Kiger RXZ variant is priced from Rs. 8.79 lakh to Rs. 10.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

Renault Kiger Powertrain Details

Renault continue to offer the Kiger with both 1.0L normal petrol and 1.0L turbo petrol engine along with the same transmission options as before. The 1.0L normal petrol engine produces 72PS of power at 6250rpm and 96Nm of torque at 3500rpm. This engine comes with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed automated manual transmission (AMT). 

The 1.0L turbo petrol engine with the 5-speed manual transmission produces 100PS of power at 5000rpm and 160Nm of torque between 2800rpm and 3600rpm. The 1.0L turbo petrol engine with the CVT offers 100PS of power at 5000rpm and 152Nm of torque between 2200rpm and 4400rpm.
