Tata Motors have extended the Altroz Dark edition range with the launch of the XT and XZ+ variants. Earlier, the Altroz Dark Edition was only available with the top XZ+ petrol variant. Now, Tata Motors are offering the Altroz Dark with XT 1.2L normal petrol and XZ+ 1.5 diesel as well to celebrate the 2nd anniversary of the hatchback. Tata Altroz Dark Edition range now starts from Rs. 7.96 lakh (ex-showroom).

Tata Altroz now comes in four Dark edition variants - XT, XZ+ normal petrol, XZ+ turbo petrol, and XZ+ diesel. The Altroz Dark Edition is available in all-black exterior colour with a blacked-out grille, blacked-out alloy wheels, blacked-out logo, and all-black interiors. In addition to these, it gets black leather seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a leather-wrapped gear knob. Tata Motors have also added brake sway control and tyre pressure monitoring system to the XZ+ variant of the Altroz.
Apart from the aforementioned changes, the Altroz range doesn’t get any other updates. It comes with three engine options - a 1.2L normal petrol engine (86PS), a 1.2L turbo petrol engine (110PS), and a 1.5L diesel engine (90PS). Tata Motors do not offer an automatic transmission option with any of the engine options yet. However, we expect Tata Motors to launch the Altroz petrol automatic later this year.
