Along with a new base variant, Tata Motors have also brought an update that increases the range of the Nexon EV Max. The new variants now offer an MIDC range of 453km on a single charge. The previous Nexon EV Max offered an ARAI-certified range of 437km. Existing owners of the Nexon EV Max will receive a software update via the dealerships from January 25 that will enable them to increase the range of their vehicles.

Tata Motors streamlined the production processes and increased localisation to decrease production costs. Higher localisation has also resulted in more subsidies from government schemes to promote the faster adoption of electric vehicles. All of that has resulted in a considerable price cut despite offering the same level of features as the outgoing model. The bookings for the updated Nexon EV Prime and Max have commenced whereas the deliveries of the new Nexon EV Max Prime will commence in April 2023.
