After the launch of the Nexon EV Max Dark Edition, Tata Motors have launched the updated Nexon EV Max XZ+ Lux with the updated touchscreen infotainment system. Read on to know more details about the updated Nexon EV Max.

Up until now, if you wanted to enjoy Tata’s new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system in the Nexon EV Max, you had to buy the Dark Edition. However, the carmaker has now added the updated infotainment system to the Nexon EV Max XZ+ Lux variant.

This is the same system that is found in the Harrier and Safari SUVs, albeit with an EV-specific theme in the Nexon EV Max. The new system offers a wider screen layout with smoother response and wireless connectivity for both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Additionally, the system includes a new HD reversing camera with multiple view options. Tata have also added over 180+ voice commands, with support for up to 6 languages.
The Nexon EV Max comes with a 40.5kWh battery pack, which powers a front-mounted electric motor. It offers 143PS of power and 250Nm of torque. The Nexon EV Max offers an ARAI-certified range of 453km on a single charge. It also offers multiple levels for regenerative braking and 3 driving modes. In terms of charging, the Nexon EV Max can be charged from 0-80% in under 1 hour with a 50kW DC fast charger.

The updated model costs Rs. 30,000 more than the outgoing model. The Nexon EV Max continues to rival other electric vehicles like the Mahindra XUV400, MG ZS EV and BYD Atto 3.
