The current set of features in the Nexon include the following:

In terms of powertrain options, the Nexon Red Dark Edition is likely to continue with the existing set of powertrains, albeit with BS6 phase-2 compliance. Tata recently updated both the 1.2L turbo petrol engine and 1.5L turbo diesel engine for compliance with BS6 phase-2 and road driving emission (RDE) standards. Furthermore, Tata also retuned the diesel engine to offer better performance than before. However, the power and torque figures of both the petrol and diesel engine options remain unchanged.

Tata Motors are likely to launch the Nexon Red Dark Edition soon. It will go on sale alongside the Red Dark Edition of the Harrier and Safari SUVs. The Nexon rivals other B2-segment SUVs like the Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Nissan Magnite, Mahindra XUV300 and Renault Kiger.
