Tata Power Collaborates With Enviro To Install 59 EV Chargers In Gurugram | V3Cars

Tata Power, the electric utility company of the Tata Group, have signed an MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) with Enviro. Under the agreement, Tata Power will install a total of 59 chargers in Gurugram, Haryana. They will install the chargers at Vatika Group’s properties, located across 18 locations in the city. Enviro is the facility management wing of this real estate developer.

Tata Power will install the chargers as public or semi-public charging stations depending on the location. Hence, residents, passersby and nearby commuters will have an easy access to the charging facility. An increase in the number of charging facilities will encourage more people to buy battery-electric vehicles.

According to the brand, Tata Power have installed over 1300 charging points across different cities under the EZ Charge brand along with a digital platform for added convenience. They have achieved this in collaboration with various companies, such as Apollo Tyres, HPCL, TVS Motors, amã Stays & Trails, Lodha Group, and others. Enviro say that India has a need for more than 4,00,000 EV charging stations by 2026.
