Tata Motors Discontinue XZ And XZA Variants Of The Tiago | V3Cars

Tata Motors have discontinued the XZ and XZA variants of the Tiago hatchback. The Tata Tiago is now available in XE, XT (O), XT, XZ Plus, XTA and XZA Plus. The now-discontinued XZ variant bridges the gap between XT and XZ Plus.

Following a recent price hike, Tata Motors have now discontinued two variants from the Tiago lineup. The XZ and XZA variants served as the second to top variants in the range. It is worth noting that the XZ variant was our top recommended variant out of all the variants, standing ahead of the XZ Plus that also offers great value for money.

The XZ variant of the Tiago offered the following features:

  • Front fog lights
  • Rear wiper with washer
  • 7.0-inch infotainment system
  • Android Auto and Apple CarPlay
  • 4 speakers and 4 tweeters
  • Cooled glovebox
  • Height-adjustable driver seat
  • Electrically-foldable ORVMs
  • Styled wheel covers

Tata Motors recently hiked the prices of the Tiago range by up to Rs. 5,000. Tiago prices now start from Rs. 5.40 lakh to Rs. 6.92 lakh ex-showroom. It rivals other B2-segment hatchbacks like the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios, Maruti Suzuki Swift, Maruti Suzuki Celerio and Citroen C3.
