Top 5 Features Of The 2022 Tata Tiago EV — Cruise Control, Regen Modes And More | V3Cars
Tata Motors are set to launch the Tiago EV in September 2022. Ahead of its launch, the Indian carmaker has started dropping hints about the Tiago EV’s unique features.

Here are the top 5 features that the Tiago EV gets over its petrol counterpart.
1. Cruise Control
The 2022 Tiago EV will offer cruise control in its top variants. The petrol-powered Tiago doesn’t offer cruise control even in the top-end XZ+ variant. Cruise control will not only make highway drives with the Tiago EV effortless but also help extract the best range out of the powertrain.

2. Variable Regeneration Modes
Tata Motors confirmed that all their electric models will offer multiple brake regeneration modes. The Tiago EV will also get regeneration modes with the controls to adjust the level of regeneration positioned on the dashboard. We expect it to offer 3 levels of brake energy regeneration, which will help charge the battery when you lift off the accelerator.
3. Leatherette Seats
The Tiago EV will also get leatherette seats. Tata’s posts on their social media channel reveal white leatherette seats with tri-arrow design on the backrest. The inclusion of leatherette seats in the Tiago EV will help increase the luxury quotient of the already well-appointed cabin.

4. Sport Mode
Tata Tiago EV will also get a sport mode to improve throttle response and overall performance of the powertrain. We sampled the sport mode in the Tigor EV and it impressed us with the brisk acceleration. As the Tiago EV is likely to make use of the same powertrain, it’s also likely to offer impressive performance.
5. Telematics
The top spec variants of the Tiago EV will also offer telematics, or connected car tech. It will help check the state of charge on your phone while the vehicle is charging. It could also offer other features like remote AC and engine start, headlight control, remote lock/unlock, charging station search, and more.
