The Honda HR-V has been a highly awaited model in India, although it was never meant for this market. Recently, Honda revealed that it is contemplating to launch six new models in India and the HR-V might be one among these.
When launched in India, the HR-V will be placed below the CR-V. It is based on the Jazz platform and packs in a 1.8L petrol mill coupled with a 6 speed manual and a CVT transmission choice. In India, the HR-V is expected to get powered by the 1.5L turbocharged petrol and 1.5L i-DTEC diesel options.
