Top 10 New Features Of Tata Altroz Facelift | V3Cars
Tata have just launched the 2025 Altroz facelift with prices ranging from Rs. 6.89 lakh to Rs. 11.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Here is a list of top new 10 features and changes you will see in the Tata Altroz 2025.

1. Ice Cube LED Projector Headlamps
As we had reported earlier, the Altroz is getting tiny ice cube-like LED projector headlamps.
2. AMT Automatic
Tata Motors don’t shy away from offering an affordable AMT automatic with more expensive cars like the Nexon. If people have accepted the Nexon with AMT, they should have no problem accepting a premium hatchback with an affordable automatic transmission. Moreover, they haven’t ditched the DCT yet. The 6-speed DCT is still available with the normal petrol in the top 3 variants. In fact, the top model only gets the petrol-DCT automatic powertrain option.
3. Air Purifier (Previously w/ Racer Only)
The new Altroz 2025 also borrows some features from the older Racer variants. One of them is an air purifier, which was earlier reserved for the Altroz Racer R3 top model only.
4. Larger 10.25-inch Touchscreen (Previously w/ Racer Only)
We have seen the larger, 10.25-inch touchscreen trickle down from Nexon to Punch EV, to Punch to Tiago & Tigor. While the Racer variants got this as standard, finally, it’s time for the Altroz to get the treat of a large high-resolution touchscreen. The regular Altroz earlier had a smaller 7-inch touchscreen.
This larger touchscreen gets a faster processor and wireless Android Auto and Apple Carplay. So, you can expect smoother graphics and better responsiveness to touch.

5. Larger, 10.25-inch LCD Instrument Cluster
Just like the touchscreen, the instrument cluster of the Altroz will also get the same 10.25-inch HD screen treatment. This is quite an upgrade from the low-res 7-inch instrument cluster screen.
6. 6 Airbags As Standard
Living up to the reputation, Tata Motors are adding some much-deserved safety features to the Altroz, which earlier offered a 5-star GNCAP rating. With this revision, we expect it to retain its 5-star rating in the BNCAP tests as well.
It’s worth noting that even the Maruti Alto K10 now gets 6 airbags as standard equipment. Tata being the king of safety, it wasn’t a shocker to see this included in the Altroz facelift’s feature list.
7. New Steering Wheel Design w/ Backlit Logo
Just like the Nexon, Curvv, Tiago, Tigor & the Punch EV, the Altroz is also getting the new 2-spoke steering wheel design with leather wrapping and backlit Tata logo. From the driver’s seat, this steering really does improve the touch and feel of the cabin by at least a few notches with only a minor change in the cabin.
8. 360-degree Camera (Previously w/ Racer Only)
Since many other cars in the similar price range are getting the 360-degree camera, the Altroz will also get one with the 2025 update. The Baleno was the first car under Rs. 10.0 lakh to start offering a 360-degree camera and it probably had some impact on the Altroz feature distribution with the 2025 facelift.
9. Sunroof (Previously w/ Racer Only)
Given the preference for sunroof among many, many buyers, Tata have decided to offer sunroof as standard in the higher Accomplished S and Accomplished Plus S variants. Meanwhile, the lower Pure and Creative variants get it as optional equipment in the Pure S and Creative S variants.
10. Interior/Exterior Design Changes
Among several interior and exterior design changes, here are some of the most prominent ones:
- Flush Door Handles: Following the latest trend, the Altroz offers flush door handles for the front doors. As expected for a car in this price band, they are manually accessible and don’t pop out automatically.
- New Alloy Wheel Design: While the Altroz doesn’t need them, it still gets aerodynamic alloy wheel design; the kind we usually see on electric cars.
- Beige Fabric Upholstery: The older Altroz had darker interiors and the new one brightens up the cabin with beige fabric upholstery.
- Connected LED Tail Lamps: This feature too has taken off pretty quickly in automotive design. The connected tail lamps highlight the width of the car and
- New Design For Front, Rear Bumpers: As is usually customary for a mid-life update, the Altroz gets fresh design for the front and rear bumpers to let people know that this is a new Altroz. That’s why they call it a facelift.
