There are no changes with the hybrid powertrain. Toyota Camry continues with a 2.5L normal petrol engine, which, together with the electric motor, produces 218PS of power and 202Nm of torque. The Camry’s engine charges the battery and the motor works in conjunction with the engine. It has three driving modes - Sport, Eco, and Normal, which alter the response times of the CVT transmission. On the other hand, the Skoda Superb doesn’t offer any hybrid powertrain in India. The Superb’s 2.0L turbo petrol engine produces 190PS and 320Nm of torque and comes with a 7-speed DCT. Thanks to the hybrid powertrain, the Camry should deliver better real-world fuel efficiency than the Skoda Superb.
