The spy shots of the Toyota Innova Hycross reveals its front end, including the it’s high-set V-shaped bonnet, slim headlamps, hexagonal grille with honeycomb mesh pattern and a bow tie-shaped lower air dam. The pictures also give us a sneak peek to the side profile of the Innova Hycross. It gets flared wheel arches with body-coloured cladding, lending it a rugged appeal. It features a flowing character line below the windows that is similar to the existing Innova Crysta. The top variants are also likely to offer chrome surrounds for the window line.
A recent spy video of the 2023 Innova Hycross also revealed a large panoramic sunroof. The sunroof seemed to cover a large portion of the roof, all the way till the D-pillar. On the inside, the new Innova Hycross will feature a multi-layered dashboard with a freestanding touchscreen infotainment system on top of the AC vents. We expect Toyota to use soft touch materials on the dashboard for a premium feel as well.
The new Innova Hycross is likely to pack a lot more features than the Innova Crysta. We expect it to come with a new infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, wireless charging, 360-degree parking camera and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).

In terms of powertrain, the new Innova Hycross could use a petrol-hybrid setup. We do not expect Toyota to offer the Innova Hycross with any diesel engines. While details about the hybrid powertrain of the Innova Hycross are scarce, it could use a 2.0L hybrid powertrain and offer more power and torque than the Urban Cruiser Hyryder. For cost-conscious buyers, Toyota could also offer a base petrol engine without the hybrid powertrain at a considerably lower price. The hybrid variants are likely to be offered with an e-CVT transmission while the base petrol-only variant could feature a manual transmission.
Toyota are likely to reveal the Innova Hycross in India later this month whereas its launch will take place in early 2023. The Toyota Innova Hycross will sit above the Innova Crysta and rival the Kia Carnival. The new Innova Hycross’ price could range from Rs. 18.99 lakh to 27.99 lakh ex-showroom.
