Toyota have commenced bookings for the 2022 Urban Cruiser Hyryder. You can book one for yourself from their official website or by visiting the nearest Toyota dealership. The booking amount is set at Rs. 25,000. The C-segment hybrid SUV will launch later this year. The main rivals of the Urban Cruiser Hyryder are the Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, Volkswagen Taigun and Skoda Kushaq. The Toyota Urban Cruiser gets 2 engine options – a 1.5L mild hybrid petrol engine and a 1.5L hybrid petrol engine. The mild hybrid engine produces 101PS of power at 6000rpm and 135Nm of torque at 4400rpm. This engine is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission and a 6-speed TC automatic transmission. This engine is also available with 4-wheel drivetrain with the manual transmission.

The hybrid petrol engine makes 116PS of power at 5500rpm and 141Nm of torque between 3800rpm and 4800rpm. Ths hybrid engine is only available with a CVT-type automatic transmission. This engine is only available with a 2-wheel drivetrain.
