Upcoming Skoda B2-SUV Spied – Brezza, Nexon, Sonet, Venue Rival | V3Cars
In February, Skoda India announced a new SUV for the Indian market based on the brand’s heavy localised MQB-A0-IN platform. The new SUV will measure under 4 metres in length and rival other B2-segment SUVs like the 2024 Nexon, Brezza, Sonet and Venue, among others. The upcoming Skoda SUV was spied on test recently, ahead of its launch, which is expected in March 2025.
Skoda B2-SUV Spied On Test – Reveals Split Headlamps Setup
Although Skoda’s B2-SUV test mule was covered in camouflage, the spy shots reveal the overall profile of the car as well as its split LED headlamp setup and L-shaped LED tail lamps. Overall, the test mule shares a similar profile as the Skoda Kushaq C1-SUV, albeit in a compact footprint.
Spy shots of the front end show glimpses of Skoda’s butterfly grille flanked by LED DRLs that also double up as turn indicators under the camouflage. The headlamps sit lower down the bumper and feature LED illumination. The production-spec Skoda SUV is likely to feature a faux brushed sliver skid plate on the lower edge of the front bumper.
The windowline, tailgate and rear bumper look identical to the Kushaq, while the roof rails get a different design. The spy shots also reveal LED illumination for the tail lamps and bulbs for the turn indicators and reverse lamp.

Upcoming Skoda SUV – Features And Safety
The spy shots do not give us a clear view of the upcoming Skoda SUV’s interior. However, we expect it to pack similar features as the Kushaq. Hence, expect Skoda to offer it with an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a semi-digital instrument cluster, electronic sunroof, automatic climate control, rear AC vents, cruise control, reverse parking camera, and auto headlamps.
Unless Skoda India start offering all their cars with 6 airbags as standard, we expect the upcoming SUV to feature dual airbags in the low and mid variants and 4 airbags in the top variants. However, expect similar crash safety ratings as the Skoda Kushaq, which boasts a 5-star GNCAP rating.
Upcoming Skoda SUV – Expected Powertrain Specifications
Skoda India are likely to offer their upcoming B2-SUV with their 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine. The small turbo petrol engine already powers the Slavia sedan and Kushaq SUV where it produces 115PS of power and 178Nm of torque. Like the Kushaq, the upcoming SUV could offer 2 transmission options – a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic.
Here’s how the upcoming Skoda SUV’s expected powertrain compares against the Tata Nexon and other B2-segment SUVs:
