Volkswagen India recently increased the prices of the Virtus by up to Rs. 50,000. After this price revision, the Virtus' ex-showroom prices now start at Rs. 11.32 lakh and tops out at Rs. 18.42 lakh. The new October 2022 prices are between 0.89% and 2.79% higher than before.
No variants of the Virtus were discontinued by Volkswagen

Prices of the Virtus 1.0L turbo petrol went higher by up to Rs. 28,000 and the Topline manual variant witnessed the biggest price change. In terms of percentage, for the Virtus 1.0L turbo petrol, the Topline manual variant saw the biggest price increase of 1.94%.
Volkswagen Virtus 1.5L Turbo Petrol October 2022 Prices - Old Vs New
The prices of the Virtus 1.5L turbo petrol are now higher by up to Rs. 50,000. The Virtus GT Plus automatic variant’s price increased by Rs. 50,000. The Virtus GT Plus 1.5L turbo petrol automatic is now 2.79% more expensive than before.
