Volkswagen recently added another dealership to their list of touchpoints. The latest one, called Volkswagen Rajdhani, opened up in Wazirpur, New Delhi and will offer sales, service and spares for Volkswagen customers and car owners.
The Wazirpur showroom is located at Plot # B-72/4 in the Wazirpur Industrial Area, New Delhi. The new showroom floor has space to put 5 cars on display. This is small by other mass market carmakers but enough for Volkswagen, considering that they only have 3 cars on sale as of October 2022. Among the 3, only 2 — Virtus and Taigun — are capable of churning out respectable volumes. The Tiguan is an upmarket SUV, and cars from this class normally attract fewer prospective customers given their high entry price.
In terms of service capabilities, the new outlet has 13 bays and a paint shop. Customers who live a little further away from the location can also avail the Mobile Service Unit facility. This is good enough for regular services but for major work, visiting the service centre is the best option.
Volkswagen now have 9 sales and 8 service touchpoints in the NCR. The total count for sales and service outlets stands at 153 and 121, respectively.

Speaking at the inauguration of this new facility, Mr. Ashish Gupta, Brand Director, Volkswagen India, said, “With the introduction of this new facility, we have further strengthened our presence in Delhi NCR. An important market for Volkswagen as we witness a high demand for our young and fresh product portfolio from the region. We are confident that the integrated sales & service facility will offer convenience, peace of mind and a hassle-free experience to our customers.”
